Interior designer turned exterior enthusiast. I’m a stay-at-home-mom by day and suburban backyard flower “farmer” by nap time. In 2023, my husband Kale and I transformed part of our suburban backyard into rows of flower beds and launched Astera Fresh Cut Blooms. I offer freshly harvested specialty flowers to our local community in Topeka, Kansas during the spring and summer months. You can usually find me in the garden with the baby on my hip, instead of doing the laundry and dishes.
